espacio de terapia psicológica online y presencial

My name is Arne and I have been a psychologist since 2016. I support men who wish to live with greater balance, connection and wellbeing, combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a warm and human approach.

I offer in-person and online therapy, drawing on different approaches to help you understand your inner processes and reconnect with your most authentic self.

I specialise in trauma, depression and anxiety, self-esteem issues, neurodivergence (ADHD and autism), and intimate relationships.

I can also help you when you are experiencing symptoms of grief, sadness, panic, substance use and addiction, eating disorders, shame and guilt, obsessions and compulsions, rigid (inter)personal patterns, postpartum depression, sexuality-related difficulties, and adjustment to expat life.

Preguntas Frecuentes

I find the human psyche infinitely fascinating and I am passionate about helping others. These two passions combined led me to this profession 🙂

I chose men as my niche for several reasons. First, I believe the most effective therapy is achieved through empathy with your therapist. As I identify as a man, I can relate well to the male experience. Second, research shows that men (in mental health) are underrepresented in healthcare, even though we do not suffer fewer mental health issues, as we can see in the high rates of suicide among men. Finally, I personally believe that focusing on male mental health has the greatest impact at a systemic, social and global level.

I do not work exclusively with men. If you do not identify as a man but would like to work with me or get to know me better, feel free to schedule a discovery call with me.

My rate for individual 50-minute sessions is €95 (excluding VAT).

My rate for individual or couples 100-minute sessions is €160 (excluding VAT).

Like most psychologists today, I was trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This is the most scientifically studied form of therapy and the most widely used to treat mental health issues.

My interest in IFS arose when I realised that, while CBT is very useful in many practical respects, it can fall short when it comes to addressing complex trauma and more deeply rooted mental health difficulties. I discovered IFS through a colleague and the book The Body Never Lies. The IFS approach has changed my worldview and transformed my practice and personal life immensely — for the better.

I run an online group for men. If you are interested, you can get in touch with me through the contact information provided, or find our group on Meetup (Barcelona Men’s Group).
